Our Technology

We use agroindustrial waste to feed microorganisms that produce the building blocks needed for our biomaterials. Natural, non-toxic additives are added to the mix to keep the biodegradable and bio-based aspects of our products without sacrificing performance. By harnessing the power of nature and creating value from waste, our process becomes scalable, cost-effective, and circular.

Made with bacterial cellulose sourced from the by-products of a local kombucha manufacturing plant. Processed with non-toxic additives and dyed with natural pigments to achieve a similar look and feel to traditional and synthetic leather.
